Rose M. Schmidt, 82,died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 1990 at the Harvard Community Memorial Hospital, Harvard.
She was a homemaker and a longtime member of the Alden-Hebron Grange.
Born in Harvard, March 16, 1907, she was the daughter of the late Emil and Myrtle (Wright) Reese.
A son Edward and two brothers, Clarence and Emil Reese also precede her in death.
March 8, 1927, in Harvard she married Frank Schmidt.
She was a lifetime member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Harvard.
Mrs. Schmidt is survived by her husband, Frank of Harvard, a daughter, Mabel (Richard) Huffar of Alden; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; three sisters, Orilla ( Amos) Busch of Walworth, Wisconsin, Martha 9Robert) Stoxen of Harvard and Charlotte ( William) Deneen of Marengo and a brother, Charles ( Marion) Reese of Woodstock.
The Rev. Arne E. Peterson pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church will officiate at the funeral at 1 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
Interment will be in Mount Auburn Cemetery in Harvard.
