Mr. Hosbie Lee Locklear, 92, of Glenflora Assisted Living of Lumberton, NC, departed this life to go home to meet his Lord and Savior on October 30, 2022, surrounded by his family.
Mr. Hosbie was born in Robeson County on October 22, 1930 to the late Hosdon & Naomi Locklear.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Carlan Locklear and eight siblings: Zelma Maynor, Junita Sampson, Ronie Allen, Pansy Sampson, Helen Hunt, Thurman Locklear, Will Avery Locklear, and Earl Ray Locklear.
Mr. Hosbie leaves to cherish his memories, four children: Ronald Locklear (Wendy) of Pembroke, Carolyn Jacobs of Lumberton, Ronnie Locklear (Cathy) of Lumberton, and Kathy Stocks of Lumberton; two siblings: Carson Locklear (Zillie) and Joann Campbell (Doug); 12 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren as well as a host of relatives and friends.
