Abraham Early, an aged and well known citizen of the Pleasant Valley neighborhood, died at his home last Friday night, in the 86th year of his age.
Mr. Early belonged to an old Rockingham family and was a man of excellent character.
He was twice married. He is survived, by a widow, and five sons and one daughter by his first marriage. Rev. Henry C. Early, of this county, is a nephew. Mr. Early was a member of the German Baptist church for many years. His funeral took place last Sunday at the Pleasant Valley Dunkard church. The services were conducted by Revs. P. S. Thomas and J. M. Kagey. A large gathering of relatives and friends attended the funeral.
