Died at the Home of His Son, Samuel Early.
Was Born In Virginia in 1814 and Came to This County in 1839 – Funeral Will Be Held Friday Morning.
Jacob Early, a pioneer citizen of the county, passed away at the home of his son, Samuel Early, three miles north of the city, at 6 o’clock this morning old age being the cause of death. The deceased was aged 87 years, 7 months and three days. He was born in Virginia on April 29, 1814 and came to this county in 1839, and remained a citizen here until his death. He is survived by Abraham Early of this county, and Isaac, of Indiana. (Samuel Early of this county).
The funeral services will be held at the Sugar Creek Church at 10 o’clock Friday morning and interment will be made in the Smith Cemetery.
