Roman Dies In Hospital
Mrs. Ellen A. Schuler, 301 N. George St., widow of Carl Schuler, died yesterday in a Utica hospital after an illness of six months.
She was born Feb. 4, 1880, in Brooklyn, daughter of John and Nora Kennedy Tyrrell. She lived for a time in Irish Ridge, N. Y., and had lived in Rome for 60 years.
Mr. and Mrs. Schuler were married June 26, 1006, in St.Peter's Church, with the Rt. ev. Msgr. James J. Carson,
pastor, officiating. Mr. Schuler died in 1943. Mrs. Schuler was a member of St Mary's Church, its Altar Rosary Society and of the Legion of Mary.

Surviving are six daughters Mrs. Edward H. (Loretta) Nelson, Mrs. George W. (Rosemary) Beck, Mrs. Robert M. (Rita) Barry, Mrs. Samuel F. Doris) Donohue, all of Rome;
Mrs. William (Marian) Bacon, Illion, and Miss Nora H. Schuler, Syracuse; three sons, Philip C. and Robert J. Schuler, Rome, and William J. Schuler, Los Angeles; a brother, John Tyrrell, Indianapolis; 23 grandchildren
and six great grandchildren Services will be at 8:45 Monday
morning in the Martin Nunn Funeral Home and at 9:30 in St. Mary's Church, where a solemn requiem Mass will be offered,
