Nadine Teehee Armitage was born on February 9th, 1932 in Beggs, OK the daughter of Monroe and Kittee (Adkisson) Teehee. She was raised in a family with six brothers and six sisters, Lois, Lucian, Quoyah, Callie, Thurman, Vera, Burl, Marion, Shirley, John, Joan and Linday. She attended Chilocco Indian School until the 8th Grade and then decided to begin her adventure in life. On December 31st, 1954 she married the love of her life, Robert Henry Armitage in Tulsa, OK. This union was blessed with two sons and their families, Steve and Ronald Armitage. Nadine loved taking care of her husband, children and grandchildren. When she wasn't taking care of the house and family, she loved to read, historical romance and thrillers. She could raise the most beautiful flowers and delicious vegetables in her gardens. She was a genuine homebody that delighted in making blue jean blankets for her family, and since she never owned a drivers license, she stayed at home enjoying the view from her own porch unless her family took her out of the yard! She loved "Outlander" and often watched TV with her canine companions, Danny and Buddy. Holidays found her cooking up a storm with her turkey and dressing, friend fish and pumpkin pie, she was an exceptional cook. She liked to listen to Gospel music and demonstrate from time to time she could be stubborn. She lost her husband in 2007, and Nadine spent more time with the family she loved. Her health began to decline and she passed from this life on October 6th, 2022 with her loved ones by her side. She was 90 years old and will not be forgotten.

She is preceded in death by her husband, grandparents, her mother and father, and four brothers, and four sisters.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Steve Armitage and wife Teresa and Ronald Armitage and wife Diana all of Beggs, OK. She will live on in her three grandchildren, Nikki Wright and husband Joe , Ashley Armitage and Kyle Armitage all of Beggs, OK. She also leaves her three great granddaughters, Khole Fitzpatrick, Hailey Wright and Presley Fitzpatrick all of Beggs, OK, her siblings Marion Teehee, Shirley Shults, Johnny Teehee and Linday Rayon as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones too numerous to list.
