Mrs. Margaret F. Souders, 79, of Ft. Loudon, died at the Chambersburg hospital at 1:30 a. m., Nov. 15th. She had been a patient there for the past 5 weeks.
Mrs. Souders was born on August 22, 1877, in Fulton County and was a daughter of the late Abram and Mary Am Cline Deshong. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Mrs. Souders was the widow of the later George B. Souders.

Surviving are nine sons, and daughters: Bruce Souders of Aitch; Ralph of Lillington, N. C.; Mrs. Raymond Bishop of Knobsville; Mrs. Byron Gerhart, of Huntingdon; Carl of Ft. Loudon; Mrs. Thomas Ensminger, of Olanta; Roy, of Ft. Loudon; Robert of RR1 Greencastle; Mrs. Guy Kriner of RR1, Mercersburg; a brother and three sisters: Riley Deshong of Needmore; Mrs. Jacob Mellot, of Monte Vista, Colorado; Mrs. Ella Swope, of McConnellsburg; Mrs. Thomas Hollinshead, of Harrisonville; 34 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren.

Also surviving are these step-sons and daughter: Mr. Scott A. Souders of Jenners; Russell Souders of McConnellsburg RD, and Mrs. Ora Mellot of Towson, Md.

Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the White Church, near McConnellsburg, with Rev. John M. Stevens, officiating. Burial was made in the Union cemetery, McConnellsburg.
