Charles Edward Drenckhahn, age 72, passed away peacefully at his home in rural Altura, Minnesota. He was preceded in death by his parents, aunts, and uncles.

Charles was born on November 8, 1949 in Winona, Minnesota to parents Adolph Jr. and Annette (Kramer) Drenckhahn. He was united in marriage to Victoria Lopez on September 4, 1982.

Charlie's main love was spending time with family, farming, deer hunting with his son, playing with his grandchildren, and being with his dog, Yukon. He loved to watch the Vikings, College Football, and Minnesota Twins Baseball.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, two children, three grandchildren, four siblings, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. (names omitted for privacy)

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 7, 2022 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Minneiska, MN. Father Bill Kulas and Deacon John Hust will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 6, 2022 at St. Mary's Catholic Church and again one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Minneiska.
