Norma Linda Aguilar, 63, of Guymon, passed away Thursday evening, January 31, 2008 at the Oklahoma University Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
The daughter of Manuel Longoria and Felipa (Perez) Aguilar, she was born on February 22, 1944 in Kenedy, Texas.
Norma was married to Dionicio Serna on July 17, 1963 in Three Rivers, Texas. She moved to Guymon from Boise City in 1966. Norma was a home health care giver. She was a member of the Harvest Day Pentecostal Holiness Church in Guymon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Felipa, one sister, Audelia Casarez, and six brothers: Rosendo, Roy, Juan, Ray, Santos, and Manuel Aguilar Jr.
Survivors include her longtime companion, Dodge Wilson of Guymon; one son, Sonny Serna of Guymon; two daughters: Joyce Fenton of Noble, Oklahoma and Phyllis and her husband, Kevin Breuer of Guymon. Survivors also include seven grandchildren: Chance, Mitchell, Kyle, Kimberlee, Blair, Brittni and Lexie; two great grandchildren: MaKenzie and Eric; two brothers: Tom Aguilar of Boise City, Oklahoma and Alex Aguilar of Clayton, New Mexico, and three sisters: Dora Cardona of Boise City, Oklahoma, Dominga Gonzales of Guymon, and Mary Martinez also of Guymon.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon, February 5th at 2:00 p.m. at the Grace Southern Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Peck officiating. Interment will follow in the Elmhurst Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the Bunch - Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.
