Catherine "Cathy" Inez Gibson was born February 15, 1961 in Cyril, Oklahoma to Jack Eldridge and Flossie Loree (Parmer) Gibson. She passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2022, in Lawton, Oklahoma at the age of 61.

Viewing will be on Monday, September 12, between 10 AM and 7 PM at Crews Funeral Home. Funeral services are planned for Tuesday, September 13, at 2 PM at the First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Apache with Rev. Caleb McDowell officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Tony Myers, Henry Rodriguez, Victor Rodriguez, Vincent Rodriguez, Hector Rodriguez, Terry White, Terry White III and Hunter Myers. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Crews Funeral Home.

Cathy attended school in Apache. She loved listening to upbeat music, go fishing and swimming. She was quite handy when it came to woodworking. She built her on shed and finished the inside, including the plumbing. Her most favorite thing to build was small log cabins. Her favorite color was blue. She attended the 1st Pentecostal Holiness Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Linda Christenson; and brother, Kenny Gibson.

Cathy is survived by her sister, Virginia Myers of Apache; brother-in-law, Keith Christenson of Sterling; nieces and nephews: Chrystal and Billy Brown of Lawton, Sherri Christenson of Lawton, Corina and Les Gee of Sterling, Chantz and Rebecca Christenson of Jacksonville, Florida, Michael Myers of Pauls Valley, Charles Myers of Taft, Shala Hutchinson of Minco, Tony and Jetta Myers of Oklahoma City, Loretta White and companion, Guy Navarro, of Lawton, Shannon and Henry Rodriguez of Lawton, Terry White, Hunter and Allison Myers of Oklahoma City, and many more; uncle, Kenneth and Mary Jo Parmer of Lawton; aunt, Genita Howell of Tuttle; 13 great nieces and nephews; and 9 great great nieces and nephews.
