FLETCHER  Funeral for Linda Christenson, 67, of Fletcher, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 12, 2017, at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home Chapel with Dennis Dawson officiating.
Mrs. Christenson passed away suddenly on Sunday, Jan. 8, 2017, in Lawton.
Linda Carole Christenson was born Oct.10, 1949, in Anadarko, to Jack and Loree Gibson. She grew up in the Apache and Lawton area. 
Linda married Keith Howard Christenson on Aug. 4, 1971. She spent the first 20 years of their marriage as an Army wife, working various jobs as they traveled the world while raising their children. Upon her return to the United States, Linda began a career in real estate. In 1988, she obtained a position in the Department of Public Works on Fort Sill Army base. In 2001, she began working at Reynold's Army Community Hospital as a Medical Equipment Technician. After 22 years in civil service, she retired in 2010. Upon retirement, Linda enjoyed traveling and tending to her beautiful flower garden.
Linda loved to spend as much time as possible with her family. Universally and affectionately known as "Nana," she was the centerpiece of a very large extensive family who loved her very dearly. She will be missed by all those who knew her.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Keith, of the home; son, Chantz and his wife Rebecca Christenson, of Jacksonville, Fla.; three daughters: Sherri Christenson, of Waurika; Chrystal Shadoan and her fiancÈ Billy Brown of Lawton; and Corina and her husband Les Gee, of Sterling; brother, Kenny Gibson, of Alvarado, Texas; two sisters: Virginia Gibson and Cathy Gibson, both of Cyril; six grandchildren: Jessica and her husband David Ratta, of Elgin; Dylan Shadoan, of Stillwater; Keith and Kelsey Drapeau, both of Elgin; and Hayden and Morgan Gee, both of Sterling; four great-grandchildren; and many other extended family members.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents: Jack and Loree Gibson; and two brothers: Ricky and Larry Gibson.
Viewing began Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2017, at the funeral home.
