Jeweline Anderson was born August 25, 1931 in Coopersville, KY. She departed this life Sunday, August 21, 2022 at the Wayne County Hospital, reaching the age of 90 years. She was the daughter of the late Bryan and Zyphla (Bell) Gregory.
On May 10, 1947 she was united in marriage to Schuyler Anderson. At the time of his passing on April 7, 2021, they had been married 73 years. To this union ten children were born: Virginia Koger (Russell, deceased), Randall Anderson, Glenna Simpson (Ronnie), Michael Anderson (Carolyn), Carson Anderson (Susan), Gene Anderson (Carolyn), Mary Allen (Rick), Paulette Hancock (Dale), David Anderson (deceased) and Melissa Turpin (Glenn). Along with 20 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchildren.
She is also survived by her siblings, Olive Foster, Ila Morrow, Carolyn Humble, and Forrest (Toby) Gregory; very special sister-in-law, Sue Gregory; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents, Bryan and Zylpha Gregory, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Schuyler Anderson; one son, David Wayne Anderson; siblings, Delano Gregory, Jerome Gregory, Kenneth Gregory, Mary Gregory Burke and Ford Bell; and grandson, Ricky Koger.
She was a member of the Concord Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 between 5 pm - 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 25, 2022 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
