Kenneth Lee Gregory was born September 30, 1940 and departed this life December 5, 2013 reaching the age of 73. He was the son of the late Bryan and Zylpha (Bell) Gregory.
He was united in marriage to Eva Sue Bell and to this union two children were born.
He is survived by: his wife, Sue Gregory; two sons, Wayland Gregory (Libby) and Bryant Gregory (Bobbie); three grandchildren, Maggie, Gavin, and Emily Gregory. He is also survived by: four sisters, Jewelin Anderson, Olive Foster, Ila Morrow, and Carolyn Humble; and three brothers, Ford Bell, Delano and Toby Gregory; along with numerous nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents, Bryan and Zylpha, he was preceded in death by: one brother, Jerome Gregory; and one sister, Mary Gregory Burke.
Kenneth was employed at Patriot Industries. He accepted Christ as his Savior at a young age and was a very active member of Old Charity Church.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 8, 2013 from 2 – 9 pm in the funeral home chapel. Funeral services will be Monday, December 9, 2013 at 12 pm in the chapel of the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
