Born in Concord, Massachusetts he attended school there and moved to Waltham almost 30 years ago.
He had been employed for many years with the Fortune Metal Company of Needham where he was a machinist until becoming disabled.
Ralph was known as a kind soul who was always willing help help his neighbors and friends or those in need, he was considered by all those who knew him, as a very generous and giving man.
He enjoyed attending Church services, and really enjoyed reading and following the stock market.
He was the devoted son of Carl & Charlotte ( Rothfuchs ) Almgren.
