Charlotte M. (Rothfuchs) Almgren, 82, of Concord, died Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at Life Care of Acton. She was the beloved wife of the late Carl F. Almgren.

Born in Boston on November 1, 1924 she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Anna (Gershal) Rothfuchs. She grew up in Dedham, attended Dedham public schools and graduated from Dedham High School.

During the 1960's, Mrs. Almgren worked as a teller at Hudson National Bank in West Concord and during the early 1970's she was the head cashier at W. T. Grants in Acton.

A Concord resident since 1955, she enjoyed cooking, the companionship of her dogs, traveling to Cape Cod and antiquing in Brimfield.

Survivors include 1 son, Ralph F. Almgren of Concord and several cousins.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 29th at 10 AM in the Farrar Chapel of the Dee Funeral Home, 27 Bedford Street, Concord Center. Officiating will be the Rev. Bonnie Steinroder, Pastor of the West Concord Union Church.

Burial will follow in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, Concord.

Visiting hours at the Dee Funeral Home will be held on Friday, September 28th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.
