Marion E. Brumbaugh, age 64, passed away at Chelan Saturday, Feb. 26, after an illness of some 15 months, due to heart trouble. Funeral services were held at the Christian church Tuesday, March 1. Interment was made in the Chelan cemetery.

Mr. Brumbaugh had lived in Chelan Valley for the past 23 years, having settled here in 1904. His time here was spent in farming principally.

The deceased was born at Prinston, Minn.(Family records state he was born in Livonia, Sherburne Co, Minnesota though one of his brother's is buried in Princeton.), March 16, 1862. In 1891 Miss Ella Hurley and Mr. Brumbaugh were untied in marriage, to which union twelve children were born. Four of the children have since passed away. His younger days were spent in the logging business in Minnesota.

The deceased is survived by his widow and eight children and the following relatives: two brothers, Isaac of Carnation, Wa., and Martin of Oroville, Wa, two sisters, Emma of Marysville, Wa., and Martha Whittleton of Seattle.

The children who are left to mourn their beloved father's passing are: Clark Brumbaugh, Mrs. Albert Marcuson, Martin G. Brumbaugh, Sidney Brumbaugh, Mrs. Finley Faubion, Marion H. Brumbaugh, Mrs. F. W. Beckman, and Joseph Brumbaugh. All of the children reside in Chelan.
