Almira (Warner) Williams was born in Caldwell County Missouri to William and Sarah (Sines) Warner. She married Joseph Grubb Williams February 18, 1861 in Wapello County Iowa. She had four children; William Scott, Charity Jane, Ulysses Simpson Grant, and Joseph Charles Putnam Williams.
