Funeral services for Augusta Rickets Accord were held from the Rose Chapel in Chelan Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. J. J. Ellington officiating.

Born in Pereival, Iowa, Aug. 2, 1879, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Richetts, pioneers of Southwest, Iowa. She was married to Robert M. Accord, Jan. 1, 1895, and moved to Brewster in 1903. In 1924 they moved to Portland, Or. Mrs. Accord came to Spokane recently to live with a daughter, Mrs. Paul Jackson, where she passed away Sep. 15, at the age of 78.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1939 and a daughter, Mrs. Rom Raleigh in 1919. She leaves to mourn her death, two sons, Lawrence Accord of Sydney, Australia, and Robert Accord of Concord, Ca.; five daughters, Mrs. Ruby Haight, Chelan; Mrs. Dorothy Weinccke, Veneta, Or.; Mrs. Cecil Bicknell, Red Lodge, Montana; Mrs. Bessie Thorpe, Purlock, Ca.; and Mrs. Mae Jackson, Spokane; five sisters and two brothers; 22 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Interment was made in the Fraternal Cemetery, Chelan.
