He was a former employee of fruit of the Loom and Maintenance for the post office and most recently he was self-employed and was of the Christian faith. Robert enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking, grilling and helping others. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by four Albert, Alford, Alvin and David Burton .
