William Robert Dalton of Flat River, died in the Firmin Desloge Hospital in St. Louis, Tuesday, January 14, 1936, following an illness of sixteen months of complications of diseases.

He was born in Mine la Motte [Madison County], Missouri, on November 28, 1882, and at the time of his death was 53 years 1 month and 16 days of age.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at two o'clock at the Church of Christ, of which he was a member. Rev. Henry Mabery will be in charge of the services.

Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, under the direction of Hood Undertaking Company.

He is survived by his widow and the following children: Grace (Mrs. A. E.) Hatch of DeKalb, Illinois; Ruth (Mrs. F. A.) Strickland of Desloge; Tillman and Glen Dalton of Detroit, Michigan; Bertha (Mrs. L. B.) Jenkins of Marshall, Missouri; Bernice (Mrs. Leroy) Swink of Farmington and Golda (Mrs. E. C.) Zipprodt of Bonne Terre. Three grandchildren also survive.

Mr. Dalton came from Mine la Motte to Flat River 34 years ago and has been employed as a mining contractor by the St. Joseph Lead Company.
