Ebe Childs, age 72, Died at Home in Moulton Sunday After Lingering Illness
Moulton, Iowa, June 2 - Ebe Childs, aged 72 years, 5 months and 17 days, died at his home in Moulton Sunday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock, following a lingering illness with cancer.
Mr. Childs was a native of Iowa, though many years of his life had been spent in the vicinity of Coatsville, Mo. He was born in Dallas county, Iowa, coming to Coatsville many years ago where he resided until about one year ago when he moved to Moulton.
Deceased is survived by the wife and seven children: Mrs. Marie Melley, Chillicothe, Mo.; Rev. Luther W. Childs, Ottumwa; Mrs. Davis E. Probasco, Haven, Ind.; Mrs. J. R. Henson, Des Moines; Mrs. Ethel Doll, Huron, S.D.; Mrs. Clifton Gorman, Moulton, and Jack, at home.
Funeral services are to be held Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock from the Baptist church at Coatesville, Mo., with burial in the cemetery near by.
