A native and lifetime resident of Cherokee County, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Clara Derreberry Postell and the wife of the late Charles E. Wilson, who died Nov. 25, 2003.
She was a homemaker and was happiest working in her flower garden and she loved music.
Mae was a member of the Red Marble Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, two sons, a sister, a brother, and 15 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and 11 great great grandchildren.
Interment in the Red Marble Baptist Church Cemetery.
