Iva H. Everett-Dalton, 85, of Delphi, IN, formerly of Monticello, IN, died at 6:58 PM on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Center in Delphi, IN.

She was born on December 23, 1929 in Delphi, IN and resided in Carroll and White counties all of her life. On June 7, 1947 in Delphi, IN, she married Charles David Everett, who preceded her in death on August 8, 1979. She married Russell L. Dalton on May 8, 1985 in Logansport, IN and he preceded her in death in November 2002.

In 1990, Iva retired from McGill Manufacturing in Monticello, IN, where she worked as an inspector for 10 years.

Iva was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Twin Lakes Senior Citizens, both in Monticello, and the VFW Auxiliary in Logansport. She was a former member of the West Side Flower Club in Delphi. At one time, Iva operated a ceramic shop in Delphi and gave classes.

Surviving are two daughters; one son; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Iva was also preceded in death by her father, Merl Sebering; mother, Mae (Miller) Snedeker; stepfather, Henry Fair; son-in-law, Ray Robert Lamb; brother, Frances Sebring; and sister, Lillian Cripe.

Graveside service and interment were held at 1 PM on Sunday at Hickory Grove Cemetery in rural Carroll County, IN with Rev. Ryan Bailey officiating.
