Lillian L. Conrad - Cripe, 87, Monticello, passed away at 3:35 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, 2014, at the Monticello Healthcare Center.

She was born on Nov. 1, 1926 in Lafayette to the late Merle and Mae (Miller) Sebring. Lillian was first married to Eldon Eugene "Gene" Conrad. She then married Wayne L. Cripe, he is deceased.

She was a 1944 graduate of Delphi High School. She had worked and retired after 33 years from the Logansport State Hospital as a nursing supervisor/attendant.Lillian belonged to and was a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post of Logansport. She was on a bowling league for many years in Logansport.

Surviving are daughters, Lorna Kay (John) Lundgren, Logansport and Mary G. (David) Cain, Monticello; son, Dick (Mary D.) Conrad, San Jose, Calif.; six grandchildren; 14 great- grandchildren; and sister, Iva Dalton, Monticello.

Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, Merle and Mae (Miller) Sebring; daughter, Sheryl Lynn Conrad; son, Robert Dale Conrad; and brother, Francis Merle Sebring.

Gathering of Family and Friends will be from 1 – 3 p.m. Saturday at Hickory Grove Church, 9714 N. 700 W., Delphi. Celebration of Life Service will be at the church at 3 p.m. Saturday with Rev. Ken Smith of Hickory Grove Church officiating. Burial will follow at the Hickory Grove Cemetery.
