Nancy was born on September 9, 1938 in Galesburg, the daughter of Bernard L. and Helen Mae Fifield Irons. She married Roger W. Day on October 1, 1963 in Rock Island, IL. He survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Rick (Lori) Day, John (Nancy) Day and Ted (Tina) Day; one daughter, Lynn (Dwayne) Burton; one stepdaughter, Cindy Ushman; one brother, Richard Irons; two sisters, Donna Jo Hansbrough and Nancy's twin sister, Mary (Vernon) Johnson; eight grandchildren; and nine step grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Barbara Ann Day January 7, 1967.
She worked for Western Illinois Ice Company, Coca Cola Bottling Plant and Brown Lynch Scott. She later was a waitress at the former Sambos, the Kozy Inn and Grady's.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
