Bernard L. Irons
Bernard L. Irons, 68, of 1396 Hollycrest Cir., died today at 6:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Hospital.
He was born 15 Dec 1908 in Galesburg and married Helen Fifield here 22 Nov 1931. She survives with a son, Richard, of Deerfield Beach, FL; three daughters, Mrs. Donald (Donna) Wright, Mrs. Vernon (Mary) Johnson and Mrs. Roger (Nancy) Day, all of Galesburg; seven grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Viola Walihan, Galesburg.
Mr. Irons had been employed at Western Illinois Ice Co. 40 years, retiring in 1971.
Funeral will be Wed. at 10:30 a.m. at Foley Mortuary, where friends may call Tues. from 7-9 p.m. A wake service will be held at 8 p.m. Rev. James L.
