Robert ARNOLD, Loving husband, father and grandfather, age 93, of Middletown passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Hospice of Butler and Warren County.
He was born May 5, 1925 in Agawam, MA to Andrew and Adeline (Prophet) Arnold.
He served our country during WWII in the US Army with an honorable discharge. He was owner of Diamond Fiber Products in Palmer, Massachusetts. Robert was a member of Manchester Road Baptist Church and the Masons.
Robert is survived by his wife of 70 years, Sally (Pease) Arnold; children, Jane (Roger) McMonigle, Larry (Jacqui) Arnold, Tom (Jackie) Arnold; grandchildren, Rob (Crystal) McMonigle, Brad (Jennifer) McMonigle, Lauren (Mark) Kobert, Laura (Mike) Beauchemin, Lindsey (Joshua) Griswold, Lindsay (Tony) Samale, Adam (Ashton) Arnold; 16 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; brother, Irving Arnold; sister, Adeline Herlihy. He is preceded in death by his parents; 11 brothers and sisters.
Celebration of life will be at a later date. Donations may be made in his honor to Manchester Road Baptist Church or Hospice of Butler and Warren County.
