Barbara Lee Petersen Tucker "2-Gethr" Always
Some 70 years ago I met a beautiful girl. Somehow I went in to a training mode, and after 59 years together, I learned to love the training. After a wonderful life together, I had to give her up to a higher authority on the evening of January 16, 2007.
My dear Barbara Lee, born June 21, 1928, lived an eloquent life as a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandma, friend, and she did so in perfect fashion. She became Mrs. James E. "Ted" Tucker November 26, 1947.
Together we share with the world our two wonderful children, son, Craig (Orpha); and daughter, Lindsay (Richard) Jenkel, and we have celebrated in their marriages throughout our lives. They in turn gave her five grandchildren to love and cherish and she relished being great-grandmother to eight and a half. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Rachael and Lee Petersen; and by her sister, Renee Petersen Kezerian, all whom she loved intently.
Barbara and I loved the Navy, and we shared many active duty tours traveling "2-Gethr" as we explored the nation's highways. As to her wishes, and to celebrate her life, private services were held at Murray City Cemetery January 18th, with her immediate family.
