OVERTON, ELIZABETH MINTON age 82, of
Birmingham, died Friday, March 28, 1997. She
was retired from the Baptist Health System, Bir-
mingham, and a member of Mountain Brook
Baptist Church. She is survived by her son Earle
W. Overton III and daughter in law, Jan of Tus -
caloosa; grandchildren, Meribeth and Earle IV;
other family and friends. Funeral services will be
held Monday, March 31, 1997, 2pm at Johns-
Ridout's Southside Chapel with internment at
Elmwood Cemetery. The family will be receiving
friends at the funeral home Sunday Evening
from 5:00-7:00pm. The family suggests that
memorials be made to the Baptist Health Foun-
dation, Inc. at 3500 Blue Lake Drive, Birming-
ham, Ala. 35243. Johns-Ridout's Southside
Chapel is directing.

She died on Good Friday 1997 after suffering from pneumonia, and she passed at what was Baptist Montclair Hospital in Birmingham Alabama, where she had been a secretary many years ago
