Miguel of Braganza (In Portuguese: Miguel de Bragança) was a Portuguese infante, illegitimate son of King Pedro II of Portugal and of the French lady Anne Armande Pastré de Verger (sometimes called du Vergé), his mistress. He was born in Lisbon on 15 October 1699 and died drowned in the Tagus River on 13 January 1724, when the boat in which he crossed the river from the other side to Lisbon turned over. Many days went by without the body appearing, until it washed up the beach on 5 February. He was buried with the usual pomp in the church of the Convent of Santa Catarina de Ribamar.
