EUNICE~ On Sunday, May 01, 2022, Sylvia "Tibby" Bollich Lintzen, mom, grandmother, sister and friend passed away at St. Frances Nursing Home in Oberlin at the age of 85. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, May 04, 2022, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Father Sal Istre, Celebrant.

Sylvia known by many as Tibby was born on June 27, 1936, to Frank and Barbara Zaunbrecher Bollich in Eunice. She went to high school at St. Michael's in Crowley and graduated in 1954. Tibby worked at Breaux's Portrait Studio and was a very talented painter and artist. She loved to work in her yard especially her flowers. She loved to cook for her family and grandchildren, and spending time with them was a great joy to her. She will be remember by her four children, Cheryl Lintzen VanAsselberg of Eunice and Stephen Bryan Lintzen both of Eunice, Jacqueline Lintzen Gotte and husband, Shawn of Jennings and Christie Lintzen Gunter and husband, Trey of Katy, TX; brother, Greg "Honeybee" Bollich and wife, Patricia of Eunice; four sisters, Clara Miller of Lafayette, Barbara LeJeune of Egan, Diane Elkins of Littleton, CO and Judy Hollier of Crowley; ten grandchildren, Ashley Prudhomme, Jennifer Nezat, Joshua Vigee, Elizabeth Lintzen, Amber Lintzen, Lane LeJeune, Wesley LeJeune, Bailey Gotte, Corey Gotreaux and Parker Gunter; eight great grandchildren, Sebastian and Abigail, Brantley and Stella, Kinzley, Rylee, Andre' and Abel; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Luke Lintzen; parents, brothers, Elmo, Donald, Austin, Manny, and Mookie Bollich; sisters, Elaine B. Turk and Loretta B. Cooper.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Tuesday, May 3rd from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm and again on Wednesday, May 4th from 10:00 am until time of services. Deacon Gary Gaudin will pray a Rosary at 6:00 pm on Tuesday.
