WILLIAM R. EDGAR
Preston, Aug. 25 — William Robinson Edgar, for the past 50 years, a resident of Preston, died at his home on Margaret street, early today. He had been ill for about a year. The late Mr. Edgar was well known in Preston for his keen interest in horticultural work. Besides his widow, who was Anna Wettlaufer before her marriage, there survive three sisters, Mrs. Jane Landreth and the Misses, Ida and Florence, all of Preston and two brothers, Mesers, Charles E. Edgar, of Chicago and Harry C. Edgar, of Preston. The funeral will take place from his late residence at 446 Margaret street on Thursday afternoon, at 2.30 o'clock. Interment will take place in Preston cemetery.
