He was born April 9, 1896 in Michigan. Scovell was a member of the Christian Church of Cheney.

Survivors include a son, Maynard, Montgomery, Ala.; two daughters, Mrs. Alma McElhaney, Little Rock, Ark., Mrs. Doris Wells, Grand Prairie, Tex., and a sister, Mrs. Alma Bake, Detroit, Mich.

Wulf Mortuary, Garden Plain, has charge of arrangements.

Survivors include a son, Maynard, Montgomery, Ala.; two daughters, Mrs. Alma McElhaney, Little Rock, Ark., and Mrs. Doris Wells, Grand Prairie, Tex.; a sister, Mrs. Fern Baker, Detroit, Mich.; and a brother. Earl, California.
