Clyde DeBord, prominent farmer living four miles west of Duncan in the Stringtown neighborhood, passed away August 16 in St. Francis hospital, Peoria, where he had submitted to a serious operation.
His wife passed away a little over a year ago.
He is survived by his aged mother, who has lived with him, a brother, Ray, two sisters, Mrs. Bert Cluskey and Mrs. Fred Belford of Monica.
Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Tretheway funeral home in Princeville. Burial was in the Princeville Cemetery.
