FOX ‹ Services for Thomas ³Hughie² Fletcher, 93, Pruitt City, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Fox school auditorium with the Rev. Dwight Hawkins officiating. Interment will be at Ratliff City Cemetery under the direction of Milburn Funeral Home.
Fletcher died Aug. 5, 1999, in Ardmore. He was born May 26, 1906, at Walters, to Thomas B. and Martha Templeton Jordan Fletcher.
He married Jossie Lucas Jan. 7, 1928, at Walters, and had lived in this area all his life. He was employed by Rock Island Oil Co. from 1941 until he retired in 1971. He was preceded in death by two sons, Clifford and Don; and two great-grandsons.
Survivors include sons, Hughie Joe, Jerry and Benny, Pruitt City, Clinton, Duncan, Ralph, Comanche, and Kenneth R., Graham; a sister, Ola Herring, Duncan; a brother, Arthur ³Hoss,² Rosewood, Kan.; 23 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous stepgrandchildren.
Grandsons will serve as bearers.
