Letha M. Davis passed away suddenly Saturday, Dec. 29, 2007, at her home in Valleyford, Wash.

She was born March 2, 1916, in Manhattan to Samuel T. and Queen Curtis Bly. Three years later, the family moved to a homestead on Bridger Creek near Big Timber. Returning to the Manhattan area, Letha graduated from Manhattan High School.

She and David G. Davis were married Sept. 28, 1938. They moved to the Bellevue/Kirkland, Wash., area in 1942, then to the Spokane, Wash., area where she has resided since 1974.

Letha was a strong, independent woman; a great role model for the entire family.

Preceding Letha in death are her parents, Samuel T. Bly and Queen Curtis Bly; brothers, Bluferd Bly and Luther Bly; her husband, David G. Davis; and her son, Stanley D. Davis.

She is survived by son, Darrel G. Davis and wife, Kathy of Ketchikan, Alaska; daughter-in-law, Allis May Davis of Ketchikan, Alaska; and grandsons, Charles F. Davis and Brian D. Davis of New Jersey.

Graveside services will be held at Meadowview Cemetery.
