He was born Sept. 28, 1913, in Moore. He was a ranch hand and gold miner in the Gallatin Valley for 10 years, a shipyard worker in Kirkland, Wash., during World War II, and then an electrician and contractor in the Bellevue, Wash., area. He married Letha Bly in 1938. For a year before his retirement in 1972 he was an electrical inspector for the State of Washington.
He is survived by his wife, Letha (Bly) Davis at home in Valleyford; two sons, Darrel Davis and Stanley Davis both of Ketchikan, Alaska; two brothers, Duane of Phoenix, Ariz., and Lew of Hesperia, Calif., two grandsons and two nephews.
Graveside services will be Oct. 17, 10:30 a.m. at Meadowview Cemetery, Manhattan with Masonic rites.
