Funeral services for John Redo Smith, 82, a former resident of West Monroe, was held at 3:30 p.m. today at the Hixson Brothers Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Clifton Tennison officiating.
Burial was in Hasley Cemetery.
Mr. Smith, a native of Winn Parish, died early Monday at the Heritage Nursing Home in Hammond. He was a retired contractor.
He is survived by four sons, Malin Smith of Hammond, Milan Smith of Baltimore, Md., A. C. Smith of Harvey and J. R. Smith Jr. of Houston, Tex.; one daughter, Mrs. Leona Britton of Hammond; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
