1859 - 1912
James was the brother of Joseph Garvin Henry. His parents were Wilson and Eliza Henry of Indiana Township, who had 12 children, James being the last son born to the couple.
In 1900 he was working in Washington DC as a news correspondent, living with his wife Mary and their one surviving child, Lucien.
In 1910 he was living as a boarder in a Washington DC private home, still working as a journalist.
He died in DC in April of 1912 of pulmonary edema at age 52 years and 11 days. He was buried in the family plot 2 days later.
