Joe Dodds' Mother Dies at Age of 74

Mrs. R. P. Dodds, age 74, mother of Joe Dodds, 104 West Lewis, and resident of Wichita most of her life, died at 7 o'clock Tuesday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. O. F. Bennett in Kansas City. She had been suffering for some time with a complication of diseases.

Mrs. Doods came to Wichita when a small child and resided here until three years ago, when she moved to Kansas City. Her husband, who died several years ago, formerly was city scale man.

The body will arrive in Wichita on the 5:20 o'clock Santa Fe Thursday evening. It will be taken directly to the family lot in Highland Cemetery, where a short service will be conducted. The Wichita Undertaking Company has charge.
