Born July 17, 1935 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of Alvin and Ada (Dillon) Bailey.
Mrs. McCracken was a homemaker, was a member of the Clearfield First Baptist Church, loved to quilt, spend time with her grandchildren and loved to read.
On Oct. 6, 1956 in Clearfield, she wed Walter Dean McCracken who preceded her in death on June 24, 2015.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Glenn, Donald, David, Benjamin, and Ave Bailey; and two sisters, Oakla Belmont and Shirley Folmar.
Surviving are three children, Wendy McCracken Wenger and husband Lynn of Mooresville, N.C.; Pamela McCracken Catipovic and husband Robert of Grand Island, N.Y.; and Jeffrey Dean McCracken and wife Cristy of Smithsburg, Md.
Also surviving are seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers and a sister, Raymond Bailey of Lockport, N.Y., James Bailey and wife Colleen and Ruth Rougeux and husband Ray, both of Clearfield.
There will be no public visitation.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
Interment will be at Lumber City Cemetery, Lumber City.
