Charles Thornton, Sr., age 63, of Glen St. Mary, Florida passed away January 19, 2018 at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born August 18, 1954 in Florida to Truby Thornton and Florene Woods. Charles was a life long resident of Baker and Columbia counties. He enjoyed his career as a Body and Paint Technician in the auto industry. When not working Charles enjoyed spending his time fishing. He is predeceased in death by his parents; brothers, J.W. Thornton, Wayne Thornton, and Leslie Thornton; sisters, Geneva Thornton Caudill, Flora Lee, Vonciel Godwin, Betty Jean Harris, and Wanda Fay Peeler.
