After a long battle with COPD, Janet Tremblay died on November 20, 2015 at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA at the age of 70.
Janet was born on March 16, 1945 in Lawrence, MA, to Fred and Edith (Graham) Bogannam, who predeceased her. She grew up in a loving family with two sisters and a brother. She graduated high school in 1963 and went on to work at various employers including Raytheon, BJ's and as a school bus driver in Salem, NH. She was a loving mother to her adopted daughter Melissa Ann Tremblay.
Janet enjoyed crocheting, painting ceramics and decorating for every occasion. She was always showing others they were remembered by sending cards for all occasions. She also always had a joke or two to tell especially unique ones that would make you blush.
Janet is survived by her sister, Barbara Ann (Bogannam) Root and her husband Paul Root of Goffstown, NH, her sister, Linda Lou (Bogannam) Mills of Salem, NH, her sister-in-law, Barbara Bogannam of Haverhill, MA and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Melissa Ann Tremblay and her brother, Theodore Bogannam
Janet requested to be cremated. She will be buried in Pine Grove Cemetery with her parents and daughter in the spring of 2016. Calling hours will be on Saturday December 5, 2015 from 10 am to 1pm at The Goundrey & Dewhirst Funeral Home, 42 Main Street, Salem, NH.
