Mrs. William C. Rugh

Mrs. Olive Amelia Rugh, 69, wife of William C. Rugh, died at her home, 128 Oak Grove Street, at 9:50 p.m. Sunday, following an illness of several months duration.

The daughter of Joseph and Rachel Laughner Slater, she was born at Lamartine, Clarion County, on March 24, 1869. She was married to William C. Rugh, on Oct. 6, 1888. Mrs. Rugh was a member of the First Evangelical Church and of the Kings Bible Class of that Church.

She is survived by her husband and the following children: F. N. Rugh, P. V. Rugh, Leroy Rugh, of Franklin; George W. Rugh of Oil City; and Mrs. Earl Saxton, Tryonville.

Also surviving are 19 grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Charles Alsbaugh, Mrs. James A Cox, William Slater, Oil City; Mrs. Elmer Snyder, Maple Shade, Miss Margaret Slater, Warren, and Christopher Slater, Callensburg.

Funeral Services will be held at the family home at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. Rev. A. J. Kimmel, pastor of the First Evangelical Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Grove Hill Cemetery.
