Annie D. Clark, age 98, of Shreveport, Louisiana passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2022. Annie was born July 25, 1923 to Susie Fair Durr and Elva Durr.
Annie is survived by her son John D. "Peanut" Clark, Jr.; her son Otis P. Clark; and her daughter Lucy Clark Hinton; her 12 grandchilden, her 20 great grandchildren, her 5 great-great grandchildren, and her special niece Mary Sue Durr.
Annie was preceded in death by her husband J.D. Clark, Sr.; her father Elva Durr and her mother Susie Fair Durr; her sister-in-law Mary Knowles; her granddaughter Sarah Clark Cella, and her grandson Opie Clark.
A visitation for Annie will be held Friday, February 18, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 2:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Park. Annie will be laid to rest in Centuries Memorial Park in Section B; Lot: 528.
Honoring the family as active pallbearers will be Jeremy Clark, Travis Clark, John Clark, Albert Batiste, Jacob Reddy and Cameron Briery. Honorary pallbearers are Curtis Clark, Jeff Melton and Pete Kaylor.
