"BALL -- John Morris Ball, 79, Parkville, died yesterday at the home after an illness of five months. Mr. Ball was born in Gravette, Ark., and moved to the Parkville area eight years ago. Surviving are a son, Lemuel Morris Ball, and a daughter, Miss Muriel Ball, of the home; two brothers, Ben Ball of Miami, Okla., and Bert Ball of Chicago; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1 o'clock Saturday at the graveside in Dow cemetery, Gravette." The Kansas City Times, July 11, 1958
