Mary Alyce Marotta, 86, of Kissimmee, passed away December 17, 2005 at the Courtyards Of Orlando, after a lengthy illness.

Born in West Louisville, Ky., on July 3, 1919, she was the daughter of Thomas R. and Addie Wellington Hicks.

She lived in Florida for the past fifty-two years, and retired in 1982 after a career as a waitress.

Alyce was a communicant of Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Church.

On October 4, 1954, she was united in marriage to Frank A. Marotta an Amsterdam native.

In addition to her beloved husband, she leaves a sister, Elizabeth; brothers, T.R. and George, all of Owensboro, KY; as well as brother in law, Ralph Marotta of Amsterdam; sister in law, Helen Perry of Texas; a special nephew, Lee and Monica Hicks of Carmel, Indiana, as well as nieces and nephews in the Amsterdam area.

The Rite Of Committal will take place at St. Michael's Cemetery Chapel.
