SMITHFIELD - Gertrude "Tex" Delk Boothe, 72, died Tuesday, July 6, 1999, in Riverside Regional Medical Center. Mrs Boothe was a homemaker and member of Brown's AME Church.
Survivors are her husband, Willie P. Booth Jr. of Smithfield; five daughters, Barbara J. Golden of Philiadelphia, Pa., Sandra D. Tucker of Maryland, Edna D. Cephas of Delawars, Tracy R. Burrell and Toni L. Brown, both of Smithfield; two sons, The Rev. Willie P. Boothe, III, and Darrell Boothe, both of Smithfield; foster son, Anthony Clarke of New York; one sister, Frances Delk of Philadelphia, Pa.; two brothers, John L. Delk and George Delk, both of Smithfield; 18 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held noon Saturday, July 10, at Brown's AME Church by the Rev. Norman Vick and the Rev. Willie P. Boothe III. Burial will be in Tynes Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs Booth will be places in church at 10:30 a.m. Today.
