Joyce was born March 28, 1946, in Henderson, Texas to the late Earvin and Mattie B. (Johnson) Collins. She left Texas when she was 16 years old and moved to Los Angeles, California where she graduated from John Muir High School in Pasadena, California. Joyce met her husband, Billy Hall, in 1971 and was married on November 22, 1981 in Altadena, California. Joyce had two daughters, Tracy Fuller and Adrienne Hall. Joyce and Billy in union created two more daughters, April Hall and Marsha Hall. Joyce had worked as a caregiver for Clara's Group Home for Disable in Iowa Park, Texas. Her personal interests included family, reading and being socially informed. She devoted much of her time and energy as a caregiver to family members. Her charm and smile brightened rooms as well as people's lives. Joyce loved to plant her flowers and make sure her family got together for dinners. She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, Gracie Degrate, Hazel Degrate, Eva Nabors and Wanda Jean Collins; and two brothers, Harley Collins and James Collins.
Joyce is survived by her husband, Billy Hall; four daughters, Tracy Fuller, Adrienne Hall, April Hall, and Marsha Hall McKinney and husband Kenny; brother, Joe Collins; sisters, Ruby Davis, Juanita Collins and Jeanie Collins. Joyce also leaves behind a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and her dearest friends, Alice Allen and Pastor Joyce Phillips.
Joyce spent her last years in company of her family and friends. She will be lovingly remembered and missed.
