*Note submitted by juliabg - James W Barton had 9 children who lived well into adulthood, with his wife Marguerite. Not listed are: James Barton Jr., Doris Fern Barton (Townshend), and Barbara Barton (Joyce). I know because I am James Jr's youngest daughter. All three of these additional siblings had multiple children who also lived to their majority. I just signed up today; I'll figure out how to edit them in. (As you might imagine, with 9 siblings having a total of 35 children, the yearly family reunion was more fun than a barrel of monkeys.)
